Science - Fitness and Health

Things I eat Daily: Apples (I like to eat a lot in a day), If there are muesli bars in the cupboard, they end up being finished within half a week. Bananas are good too. I also take a slice of bread every few minutes and if I wake up early enough, I have enough time to have eggs for breakfast. For lunch, I normally have whatever is on the school lunch menu. Dinner is usually vegetables and protein such as carrots and chicken.

Which foods are healthy in my daily diet: Protein is essential in an everyday diet because it helps you grow, Fruit helps you detoxify. Food with Calcium in it such as milk of cheese can strengthen your bones.

Things I do for general fitness on a daily basis: If I have enough time, I go for a bike ride around the racecourse at my house. At least SOME part of my day involves running even if it is just for fun. I eat breakfast every morning unless I am in a hurry which is very unlikely. I always eat lunch and dinner as well. One or two days a week, I carry bags filled with groceries up 4 flights of stairs. I like to swim every weekend if I get the time. I do a few basketball shots most days in the playground. I might go for a run if I don't want to do basketball shots, or throw around a rugby ball with my Dad. Sometimes I might throw some basketball shots at school. I don't usually run around at school because I'm not really a fan of football and I'm not that good at it.

  14. Hi Finn, it does not matter what sport you play as long as you enjoy any activity that creates a level of fitness to provide you with a happy and healthy outcome.
Consider that we have a limited time to complete everything in a day so the next best thing is to be efficient with our activities so we can live a life that is full and meaningful.
The habits you pick up in your youth influence the rest of your life.
